HERZOG, Raymond

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ray Herzog on December 22, 2017 following a brief stay in hospital.  Ray was 79 years old.  Those fortunate enough to have known Ray, knew him as an incredibly intelligent, caring, and generous human being. He had careers both in education and mental health, and was committed to helping others.   He was a mentor to many who generously shared his knowledge and wisdom.  He had a passion for reading, gardening, and entertaining.  He was a proud and independent man who lived life on his own terms.  He will be truly missed by his friends.  According to Ray’s wishes there will be no funeral service.  Friends wishing to do so are invited to make a donation in Ray’s name to a charity of their choice.
