Obituary of Dan Bolianatz
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our father and grandfather on November 15, 2017, with his family by his side. Dan was born to Stephen and Nestoria Bolianatz on November 9, 1932 in the Avonlea District. He was predeceased by his parents, his first wife Margaret, his half-siblings Annie, Lena, Julia and George, his siblings Mary, Sam, Flora, Nettie, Olga, Ruth, Lydia, Victor and Maxine. Dan is survived by his sisters Yvonne and Rose, his seven children Dan (Cathy), Linda (Bernard), Judy (Robert), Kevin (Valerie), Trevor (Rhonda), Victor (Deanna) and Jacinta (her mother Carmen), his step-daughter Thea (Dino), his five grandchildren Liam (Laura), Josie (Shaun), Sam, Aurora and Jaiden, his step-grandchildren Troy, Lisette, Steven, Aurora and Taylor (Kelly), and his step-great-grandchildren Drake, Bryden, Rowan, Cassidy and William. Dan loved nature and the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, growing his own food and designing beautiful flower gardens. He always had a creative bug and enjoyed painting, refinishing antiques and crocheting. Spending time with family was important to Dan, whether bowling, playing pool or playing cards. He will be missed dearly by family and friends alike and forever held in our hearts.
Grace is the wonderful spirit that imbues every fiber of our being when we practice the fruits of the spirit: kindness, patience, understanding, forgiveness, love, gentleness, fellowship and endurance.
- Edgar Cayce
