Lorette (Loret) Mary Simone  (nee Martin) Waldal
It is with great sadness that our family announces that Lorette (Loret) Mary Simone  (Martin) Waldal, born December 12, 1937 in Radville, SK,  went to be with her Lord on September 5, 2017 in Regina, SK. Predeceased by parents Alfred & Adrienne Martin; daughter Wendy Anne; siblings Raymond, Rolland, René, Leo, Alphonse,  Gilbert, Marcel; Yvonne & May. Loret will be deeply missed by Casper, her husband of 63 years. Children: son Kelly (Susan); grandchildren Dane, Brett, Avery (AJ) and Amy; Daughter Cindy (Mike) Bartlett; grandchildren Josh (Shannon), Elisha (Manuel) Lopez, (great-grandchildren; Kal-El, Denzel, Jor-El and Micaela), Jamin, Candace and Jared; son Kevin (Karen); grandchildren Quinn and Austin; daughter Colleen (Ian) Hodges; grandchildren Gareth, Sian and Megan;  her sisters Alyce, Margaret, Jeanette, Louise & Marie; her brothers Lawrence & Maurice and a large extended family of numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. Mom will be remembered for the many family gatherings and events she hosted where she provided her famous dinner buns, cinnamon rolls, cabbage rolls, chocolate chip cookies, and pumpkin pie. A loyal and sometimes fanatical Saskatchewan Roughrider fan. She enjoyed playing golf and especially participating in and hosting the annual Martin Family Golf Tournament. Please join us for a celebration of her life at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 15, 2017 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 935 McCarthy Blvd. North, Regina, SK with reception to follow. The family would like to express a special thanks to Dr. McMillan/staff and the nurses and caregivers at Regina Wascana Grace Hospice for their support and loving care during mom’s struggle with cancer. Those who so desire, may make Memorial donations to the Salvation Army.
