Our son Joel Luke Anderson was born in Regina, Saskatchewan at 22:12 on September 2, 2016. He was a big boy from the start, weighing in at 9lbs, 14 ounces. He was a baby brother to Levi Dain (6) and Naomi Jade (4) who both loved their JoJo. He was our beautiful, sweet-natured baby, with blue eyes that sparkled when he smiled, (which he often did) making us wonder what he was up to or thinking about. He loved people, animals, and being inside or outside. Joel was a great little traveler who loved eating and sleeping – there really wasn’t anything he didn’t love. He would crawl around the house pointing at things saying “Oh!” He was a good listener and he loved to snuggle with his Momma.

We are thankful to all the people who built into Joel’s life the care given to him wherever he went, all those who loved to hold him and play with him.

On August 29, 2017, Joel had a tragic accident and despite the best efforts of the medical team he did not survive surgery. He is now perfectly restored now as he spends eternity with Jesus. Our hope is in Christ alone and we look forward to holding Joel again when we join him in eternity.
