Obituary of Regina Vogt

Regina (Wild) Vogt Oct. 22, 1923 - Oct. 10, 2015 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister & aunt. Regina was the fifth of eleven children born to Adam & Maria (Hinger) Wild in Odessa, SK. On July 1, 1946, she married William (Bill) Vogt, son of Vincent & Katherine Vogt of Odessa. SK. Bill & Regina lived in the Odessa area until they moved to Regina where they raised their 7 children. Regina was predeceased by her parents; husband Bill (1988), sons Ron (2014) & Patrick (1986) & granddaughter Vanessa (1984) as well as her siblings Anne, Mary, Joe, Frank, John, Tony, Victor & Ed. She is survived by her children: Ken (Bonnie), Allan, Charlene (Bruce) Welsh, Janice (Duane) Gwilliam, her youngest son, Darren who had a special place in her heart and daughter in law, Simone Lepage; grandchildren: Justin & Cassandra Smith (Aaron), Courtney (Brandon) Wagner, Jeremie (Jocelyne), Joshua (Breanna), Taylor, Brenden, Torrie, Jennifer & Greg Vogt, Michelle (Bob) Blais, Marina (Ryan) Selzer, Lindsey Welsh (Trevor), Janie (Kory) Andrews; great grandchildren: Tayson, Easton & Kade, Dre, Amelia & Blake; sister Eileen Simon; brother Ben (Alice); sisters in law Jeannine, Pauline, Mary, Isabelle & Kaye Wild, Phyllis; sister Loretta Vogt. A special thanks to everyone at the Regina Lutheran Home for all the loving care they gave our mom. Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 15, 2015 at Holy Cross R.C. Parish, 315 Douglas Ave. E., Regina, SK. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Regina's memory may be made to the Regina Cosmopolitan Learning Centre, Connections Program, Box 1517, Regina, SK S4P 3C2.
