Obituary of Norm Robbins
It is with sadness that the family of Norm Robbins announce his passing on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at the age of 79 years. Norm is lovingly remembered by his wife Phyllis (nee Barlow); sons Todd (Elaine) and Trent (Cherie); grandchildren Nathaniel, Ali and Arthur Robbins; brother Brian Robbins; sister Lynne Murray (Rick); and sister-in-law Joyce Barlow. He was predeceased by parents Theresa and Forrest Robbins; mother and father-in-law May and Percy Barlow; and brother-in-law Rod Barlow.
Anyone who knew Norm, knew what a fun, caring, loving and loyal friend he could be. But as good a friend as Norm was, he was an even better husband, father and grandfather. Norm married the love of his life 56 years ago, raised his boys early in life and was lucky enough to be able to spend years of quality time with all his grandchildren when they were young. While he loved his work years in marketing at SaskTel, he considered his summers at Candle Lake as priceless. Endlessly curious, Norm loved to travel and did so across the globe on numerous occasions. He will be missed by all who knew him, but we are sure they will all smile or laugh at the memories.
A casual Come and Go Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Living Hope Alliance Church Gym, 3800 Green Falls Drive - South Entrance, Regina, SK.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arthritis Society of Canada – Sask Division (www.arthritis.ca) or the Canadian Lung Association (www.lung.ca).
In Loving Memory
Norm Robbins
