My sincere condolences to all of you--Violet's family and closest friends! I look back with fondness on the times I spent with Violet when we both lived in Maidstone. We'd have long conversations when we "dissected" the world, ending in much laughter and the enjoyment of a delicious piece of her homemade lemon meringue pie! Yup, she was outrageous, outspoken and passionate! One of a kind. Fialka, dear friend, thanks for the colourful memories :) May you and all of your precious ones, be at peace.
I feel so incredibly grateful to have had a force of nature like Violet in my life. I’ve known her for virtually my entire life. She’s been a best friend, second mother and mentor for me. Everyone should be so lucky as to have a ‘Violet’ in their life.
Sending hugs and sympathy to Dawn, Denise and families. And to Ron who cared so much. Will always remember Violet's happy laugh. May good memories bring much comfort.

Our family sends our care, love and support at this difficult time. Violet was my close and dear friend and I will miss her a great deal. She was a loyal, dedicated and highly capable individual in our caucus and on our team at House Leaders and her ideas and opinions I always took seriously. Thank you Violet for being my friend.
I was saddened to read of Violet’s passing. She was a cherished colleague for many years and one who will be remembered for her leadership, her dedication to community and her friendly disposition. Please know there are many who share your loss. Please accept my sincere sympathy.
