Obituary of Judith Marie Lynn

Please share a memory of Judith to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

It is with great sadness that the family of Judy Lynn announce her passing  on Monday, November 21, 2022 after a brief battle with cancer.  Judy was a beloved teacher in Lumsden until her retirement in 2004.  She was a pillar of the community volunteering on local teacher’s federation committees, local community boards, church committees, and coordinating the Lumsden Red Cross swimming program.  Judy embodied an infectious joy for life that was imparted to those around her.  She was predeceased by her husband Kent Lynn; and her father William Ferleyko.  She will be lovingly remembered by her mother, Carol Ferleyko; brother, Ken Ferleyko and family (Brenda Ferleyko); Mandi Henderson (Steven Henderson); Jillian Ferleyko-Bruce (Steve Ferleyko-Bruce, Micah Ferleyko-Bruce, Niamh Ferleyko-Bruce); and her stepfamily including:  Colin Lynn (Amy Lynn Wisniewski, Abby Lynn, Sadie Lynn), Tasha Kenny (David Kenny, Courtney Kenny), Aaron Lynn (Kristin Nelson, Leo Lynn, Vivie Lynn) as well as extended family and many friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church in Lumsden, SK. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church in Lumsden or Saskatchewan Cancer Agency.
