COVID-19 Update

At Paragon Funeral and Cremation Services, our commitment is to the health and well being of our client families, our staff and the community. Our team is closely monitoring the COVID-19 Pandemic and following the health guidance provided by the CDC, Funeral and Cremation Services Council, National Funeral Directors Association, Health Canada and Saskatchewan Health.

Supporting one another at a time of loss is important, and there are many ways to still pay tribute amidst this outbreak. We are here to assist families as they choose the best way to memorialize in their particular situation, whether that be a funeral or memorial in the coming days, a memorial at a later date, a private service by invite only, or an intimate graveside service. Members of the community not attending the funeral can leave private or public condolences on our website:

We will abide by the Province of Saskatchewan’s restrictions on public gatherings of 10 or more attendees.
All services currently scheduled will proceed, unless a family requests to reschedule or postpone. Many funerals and memorials are smaller gatherings of less than 10 guests, and attendance at services will likely decrease due to social distancing.

With regard to public gatherings, in accordance with Saskatchewan Health, we advise those not feeling well to stay home, or if you have traveled from another country in the past 14 days, please stay home.

If you are attending services, please follow safe hygiene practices:
· Wash your hands frequently with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use hand sanitizing gel with at least 60 percent alcohol.
· Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands
· Cover your coughs and sneezes with your arm or inner elbow
· Avoid close contact with sick people

In addition to communicating best health and safety practices to our staff and guests, we have intensified cleaning throughout our facility. Please be mindful when going through doors & use of door handles. Be assured that we are taking extra precautions and wiping down surfaces between each family.

For funeral arrangements, we have the ability to make arrangements in our facilities, by phone or internet if this would be more comfortable for your family. We can accommodate a variety of plans to fit your family’s wishes. Please call ahead to make an appointment, to ensure that we can monitor the number of families in our facility at any given time.

Simply put - we are going to do everything we can to support you, your family, our staff, and the community during this time. For the latest provincial information please visit

Know that we remain open at this time and we are available and committed, as we continue to serve families with dignity, compassion and professionalism, in their time of loss. The health of your family, the community and our staff is our greatest concern.

Take Care,
