Obituary of Sophie Raczynski

Sophie Raczynski Sophie passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at the age of 93. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph, her son Carl and her granddaughter Celine; her parents, Andrew and Katherine Bonk; five brothers, Charlie, Andrew, Jack, Louis and Mike Bonk; two sisters, Nellie Skiba and Mary Raczynski. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Mary (Arnold) Gervais, Vera (Bob) Callan, Kitchener, ON, Vincent (Thelma) Raczynski, Melville, SK, Caroline Schachtel, Peter (Joyce) Raczynski; two sisters, Francis Krainyk, Weyburn, SK, Victoria Short, Fillmore, SK and one brother Steve (Stevie) Bank, Penticton, BC; 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was devoted to her family and her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We are all so very thankful for the many prayers on our behalf. She also was a woman who loved to have fun and we loved having fun with her! She will be greatly missed and we will treasure our memories always. Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Our Lady of Grace R.C. Parish, Sedley, SK.
