Obituary of Helen James

January 4, 1945 – September 24, 2017
Helen passed away peacefully with her family at her side at Wascana Rehab Centre. Helen will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Amanda (James) Benesh; granddaughter Alexandra; brothers Tony (Patti), William (Maryann), Andrew (Lynn) and Mike (Elaine); sisters Ida (Elmer) Miller, Mary (Jack) Hoffart and Irene Williams as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Frank and Johanna; brother John and sister Kay Thauberger. Helen enjoyed a long and distinguished career as a social worker in which she dedicated her time to help those in need. A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery, 815 Assiniboine Ave. E., Regina, SK. In lieu of flowers, donations in Helen’s memory may be made to the M.S. Society. A Sincere and Special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of Wascana Rehab Centre, Unit Main 5 for their support and excellent care of Helen.
