It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Karlene Patterson on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Wascana Grace Hospice, Regina, SK. She is predeceased by her parents Karl and Laura Lorch, and twin brother Kenneth Lorch. Karlene is survived by her son Kevin Patterson (Doris); daughter Karla Patterson (Scott Brown); grandchildren Kayley and Taylor Patterson; and brother Wayne Lorch (Kathleen). Karlene was born and grew up in Spy Hill, SK. She later relocated to Regina. She was a strong single mom who raised her two children to be independent, respectful and understanding. Karlene fulfilled many people’s dreams for many years as a successful realtor – uniting them with their dream homes. She enjoyed retirement with family and friends. She was always supportive, witty, contagious and fun to be around. She will be dearly missed by many. Think of her with a smile. A private Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held at a later date. The family would like to extend their thanks to the supportive folks at both Pasqua Palliative as well as Wascana William Booth Grace Hospice. Your care and support never went unnoticed. In lieu of flowers donations in Karlene’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Diabetes Association or to the Wascana Grace Hospice.
