We celebrate the life of Gerald Laurie Schulz who passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 9th, 2017. Jerry was predeceased by his parents Ed and Beth Schulz and his sister Janet Skidmore. He will be cherished by his beloved spouse Cecilia McGill, much loved father of Kam Schulz, Lyndon (Michelle Huget) Schulz, Trevor (Paula) Schulz, Jodi (Cornell) Srochenski, stepfather of Jeffery McGill, Greg McGill, and Kevin (Kerry Worm) McGill. Dear grandfather of Mathew, Kayla, Shyanna, Tyden, Kristopher, Justin, Daniel, Mikayla, Andrew, and KJ and great grandfather of Sosa, Lincoln, and Autumn. Jerry is also survived by his dear sister Ruth (John) Duff, his brothers Rick (Isabelle) Schulz, and Terry (Andrea) Schulz, and his lifelong best friend Lorne (Rose) Overbye. We will have a celebration of Dad’s life at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at the Bethune Community Hall, Bethune, SK with interment and lunch to follow. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to a charity of your choice. We would like to send a special thank you to the doctors and nurses in the palliative care unit at the Pasqua hospital for the exceptional compassion and care they gave dad.
