Hazel Joan Barkhouse, 86, of Regina, SK passed away peacefully on August 20, 2017 surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by her parents, husband Ronald and one son Terry, several brothers and one sister. Hazel is survived by her five children, Richard, Geraldine Scales, Kevin (Tannis), William and Robert. She is also survived by one brother Bud (Mae) Townend and one sister Peggy (Alvin) Walters. She will be sadly missed by 7 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Our mom loved caring for her family, spending countless hours cooking, baking, sewing and gardening. She was also an avid Saskatchewan Roughrider and Blue Jays fan. We will miss the family suppers on Sundays and will cherish all our special holiday memories. As per Hazel’s wishes, a private graveside memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
