Esther Schmuland
Esther Victoria Schmuland (nee Schindel) of Regina went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Monday, August 7, 2017. She was born September 14, 1930 at home near Birmingham, SK. Esther was the fourth of fourteen children born to Adolph and Lydia Schindel. She married Lawrence Schmuland of Fenwood, SK on October 1, 1952. She was predeceased by him in 2012, her parents Adolph and Lydia Schindel and siblings Evelyn, Adeline, Reuben, Edward and Linda. She is survived by sons Doug (Heather) and their family: Dielle (Bryce) Driedger and great grandson Daven, Seanna Schmuland (Nick Milton), Prentis (Alexa) and Toveli; and Lyndon (Lynnette) and their family Shyla, Ethan and Mackenzie; and siblings Viola Miller, Lillian Hubert, Elmer, Norman (Betty), Milton (Barb), Garry (Trudy), Ivan (Marilyn) and Roland (Bev) and numerous nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. A service celebrating Esther’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 14, 2017 at Faith Baptist Church, 437 Broadway Avenue East, Regina, SK. Mom and the family wish to express their gratitude for the care given by the staff of 4B at the Pasqua Hospital and at Regina Wascana Grace Hospice. Donations in Esther’s memory may be made to either Faith Baptist Church or the Regina Wascana Grace Hospice through the Salvation Army.
