Leah Bethany Flegel
Leah passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at the Regina General Hospital at the age of 28 years. She was predeceased by her grandparents, John Flegel and Mary Kirkpatrick. Left to cherish Leah’s memory are her parents, Dan and Elaine Flegel; brother, Stuart (Shavonne) and their children Marshall and Ted; sister, Janelle (Justin and his children Kal and Alyssa); grandparents, Rose Flegel and Gordon Kirkpatrick; as well as a very large, loving extended family. Leah struggled for over 20 years with many life impacting challenges. But she was carried by the love and laughter with friends and family. Leah loved her life on the farm and never wanted to live anywhere else. She loved her summers working at the Brick Plant, horseback riding, singing, playing games and cards. She loved her cat, Lilo. Leah touched so many lives with her love, courage and caring nature. She will be missed but never forgotten. A Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 5 at St. Joseph’s R.C. Parish, Claybank, SK. A Memorial Mass to Celebrate Leahs life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at St. Joseph’s R.C. Parish, Claybank, SK. Online condolences may be left at www.paragonfuneralservices.com. In lieu of flowers, donations in Leah’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
