Matilda Hubick (nee Wagner) December 25, 1919 to October 24, 2015 Matilda passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at the age of 95. She was born and raised in Earl Grey and later moved to Southey where she lived and raised her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Karl in 1986; her son, Elmer in 1992; her brother George and her sisters Edna and Hedwig. She is survived by her son, Ervin (Marlene); her daughter, Donna (Warren) Solie, daughter-in-law Arlene, 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Evelyn, Lenora (Herman) and brother Arnold (Dorothy) and many nieces and nephews. Mom loved being around family and very much enjoyed her grand and great grandchildren. She also loved playing cards, bingo and entertained hobbies such as quilt-making, knitting and crocheting. She was a loving mother, grandma and great-grandma and she will be missed very much. Her faith in God was unshakeable and this became more and more evident as years went by, especially in the last few months. Funeral Service will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 2, 2015 at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 2015 – 4th Ave. N., Regina, SK. Interment to follow at Southey Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Matilda’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. On-line condolences may be made at www.legacy.com or at paragonfuneralservices.com
