Obituary of Joyce Ermel

Joyce Ermel August 1938 – September 2015 It is with great sadness that Joyce’s family announces her passing on Friday, September 4, 2015. She is predeceased by her parents, Malcolm and Eleanor Campbell. Left to cherish Joyce’s memory include her spouse, Alvin Ermel; her children, Lorrie (Eh Say) Ermel - Kyle and Layne, Donna (Marshall) Duzan – Emily (Curtis) and Eva (great grandchild) Dekens, Zachary, Hannah, Brent (Bree) Ermel – Myles, Melissa and Dominic (great grandchild) and Kevin Ermel – Jacob, Nicole; brothers, Ken (Mary) Campbell and Lloyd (Leona) Campbell as well as many other family. Joyce was born in Saskatoon, SK on August 25, 1938. After a short clerical career at the Grey Nuns hospital in Regina, she met and married Alvin where she committed her life to her husband and children on the farm in the Bethune area. In the last years of her life, Joyce enjoyed living in Regina spending time with family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at the Bethune Community Hall, Bethune, SK. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joyce’s memory may be made to the Bethune Cemetery Fund or the Kidney Foundation of Canada. "To live is Christ, to die is gain"
